“The Mark of Culture” by Charnpichit Pongtongsumran, an interesting exhibition on the Sak Ka Lai, the ancient Lanna magic tattoos, has been set up at the Chiang Mai House of Photography.
This work is the result of four years of long research, in which the author met the few people who still have these special tattoos on their skin, made according to the tradition of northern Thailand.
The exhibition will be displayed until September 29th 2019. If you pass through here, don’t miss it!
