The Muladhara Chakra, the first energy center located at the base of the spine, is the focus of both physical and psychological experiences. Known as the Root Chakra, it is linked to the primary survival instincts. Our energetic foundation that helps us find the paths in our lives, with our feet firmly planted in the ground.
Muladhara is one of the most sensitive Chakras. Precisely for this reason we could identify a blockage in those insecure people, who suffer from anxiety and paranoia, food disorders, depression, constant insecurity and negativity. Such a blockade may depend on past events: trauma, radical change or loss. Added to this is poor nutrition in childhood, both in terms of food and affection.

Others simply live in a more positive way, with the idea of carrying out a multitude of projects at the same time, but without succeeding in concluding one. There is a strong difficulty in relating with other people, feeling misplaced, indecisive and disoriented. A continuous search is to want to fit somewhere in the world and one ends up being contented.
Excessive functioning of the Root Chakra will bring obsession to the individual. With the accumulation of material needs and a morbid attitude in feeling safe, rejecting any kind of change.
At the Rebalancing Chakra Yoga Workshop we will approach the Chakra system in different ways: meditation, mantras, asanas, pranayama, mudras…

It is important to place one’s attention on each individual Chakra and keep them all well balanced, as they are connected to each other. Muladhara as the first energy center supports all the others. A good functioning of the first Chakra is identified with the efficiency of managing daily life, accepting one’s responsibilities and leading it in harmony with the rest of our planet.
Harmonisation comes with time and determination. Only in this way can we have a strong vital energy, security, ability to assert ourselves, trust and spiritual prosperity.
