At The Warriors House we are waiting for the release of the book about Sak Yant, the sacred Thai tattoos. The result of a long work, started by Fabio long time ago and then continued together with Paolina until today. A real journey into the occult, in search of stories and people who could tell and share their experiences.
Not only from the outside, the two of them get into the story, they are part of the journey. Curiosities, interviews, translations, alarms at 3 AM with two hours of sleep, google map that always messes up the road, the thousands of miles done together, the exchange of thoughts, the situations experienced, the expectations and patience between one tattoo and another.
In the book a collection of images will take you to the scene, to the past. Nothing fake, nothing commercial. Among the real warriors who wear these tattoos for reasons that go beyond aesthetics. Each Sak Yant has its meaning, its powers enclosed in the ink and in the magic formulas recited by the Master.
The power of these drawings will be possible to know through meditation and commitment. Bringing these tattoos with absolute respect and following precise rules.
Between blessings and small inconveniences on the way, the journey has been even more exciting. And it has turned into a challenge.
